Since 1997, they have been roasting coffee under the Midnight Sun in the summer and the Northern Lights in the winter. They work directly with farmers to ensure ethical production and sustainability. They have the cutest little shop with a sunroom to enjoy the sun year-round. We loved their chai latte, vanilla latte & dill pickle potato salad.
Yukon Wildlife Preserve
park
Interactive wildlife experience in Yukon
The Yukon Wildlife Preserve is the best spot where you can get up close and personal with animals from 10+ iconic Yukon species. Located just outside Whitehorse (30 mins. You can take a leisurely walk, hop on a guided bus tour, rent bicycles or take a VIP tour to check out moose, bison, foxes, and more. We did the VIP tour so we could watch a Lynx feeding and it was incredible!!
Places like this don't get much government funding so they rely on people like all of us to support them. Its hard to find ethical animal sanctuaries in Canada since they are not regulated by the government but this place is the exception. All animals are here ethically and you do not get to touch them.
This spot is just incredible! The tour we did was 3 hours long.
Expect to send 2-5 hours here!
