Day 1

1

Shark Valley Tram Tours

area

Exploration of Everglades with Experts

This is a designated area where you can ride a bike (your own or rented) down a road that has tons of alligators for up close viewing! Bike rental is $26 per person for the day.

If you don't want to bike, they also offer tram tours.

You do need a National Park Pass in order to enter otherwise entrance fee is $35 per vehicle as of 2025.

Tram Tours are approximately 2 hours.

  • Adults (13-61) $33.00

  • Seniors (62+) $25.00

  • Children (3-12) $18.00

Reservations recommended.

We did not actually do this and don't necessarily recommend it because of how busy we saw it get (think cars having to park along the road). We think there's lots of great places to view the wildlife within the park without heaps of crowds and without paying what we think is a lot of money for little reward. We wanted to include it as an option as we do know people who have gone and enjoyed it!

2

Oasis Visitor Center

Sightseeing

Visitor center with alligator sightings

There's a boardwalk here where you can spot alligators & turtles chilling in the canal. Its a great free spot (its not in the national park so its free to visit!) to view alligators from a safe distance. They often have rangers on the boardwalk giving lessons and answering questions!

3

Robert Is Here Fruit Stand

area

Exotic tropical fruits in Florida

This is a fruit stand with tons of fresh fruit for sale, as well as a small animal rescue area where you can see tortoises, donkeys, chickens and more.

They have amazing smoothies and some food trucks there for a quick bite.
