The western end of the 90 Mile Straight marks the beginning of one of Australia’s most iconic highway stretches — 146.6km without a single bend.

This is where the scale of the Nullarbor really sinks in. The road stretches endlessly toward the horizon, with nothing but open sky and flat country around you. It’s not a scenic lookout — it’s a perspective shift.

Note: I was driving from the East so I didn't stop here long (I stopped at the Eastern side) but its worth a stop and a photo (and stretch of legs) before starting it. This photo is not mine.
