The Alpine Coaster is a popular attraction that offers an exhilarating ride down a mountain track in a small cart. Riders can control their speed as they twist and turn through the scenic alpine landscape. It's like a roller coaster, but on a mountain! You can reach speeds of 40 km/hr along the 2600m track.
Purchase your tickets to ride at the base station of the chairlift. This activity can get quite popular on summer weekends so getting here early is a good idea.
Any age can ride up the chairlift (they will only let 2 people per chair), but to ride the coaster you must be 3 years old. Ages 3-7 and 95cm can ride with an adult. Ages 8+ and 140cm can ride alone. The website says provide proof of age so be prepared with a passport.
At the top of the chairlift, you'll also find a restaurant, archery course, and an excellent playground. You could spend all day here hiking, eating, playing, and riding the coaster down.
There is also a mountain biking course here, you can put your bike on the chairlift and then bike down the mountain. This one is for the more adventurous travelers!
