Rain Gear is Mandatory

Iceland's weather is totally unpredictable. A sunny morning can change to wind and rain in minutes. I made this mistake multiple times where it was sunny and warm so I would walk from the parking lot to an attraction and find myself walking back looking like a wet dog. Even if you don't wear it, pack your raingear in a backpack every time you venture out (even if its just for 5-10 minutes) just incase!
