Awna restaurant was an immersive experience located amongst the iconic sandstone outcrops and ancient tombs of Hegra, Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site. The menu presented dishes inspired by the essence of the Incense Road - featuring an exceptional roster of Michelin-starred chefs with 50 years of culinary experience behind them. Guests were able to enjoy a traditional banqueting experience in the Tea Lounge or sample a fine dining journey with tasting menus created using local flavours and recipes passed down through generations. This unique experience celebrated the culture and heritage of Hegra’s past and offered next level spins on traditional dishes that delighted both locals and visitors.
