Hallesches Haus Store
Tempelhofer Ufer 1, 10961 Berlin-Kreuzberg
Housed in the beautifully restored Postamt 61 (a red-brick former postal hall from 1906), Hallesches Haus seamlessly blends a concept store, café and event space under one vaulted roof.
The Store: Explore an ever-changing selection of designer homewares—hand-blown glassware, artisanal ceramics, scented candles and botanical accessories—sourced from local and international makers. Pick up cacti and succulents for your windowsill or discover functional objects with playful details.
The Café: Open daily from 10:00–17:00 (kitchen until 15:30), the café serves specialty coffee roasted on-site alongside seasonal health-focused dishes and weekend bagel brunches. On Saturdays, brunch aficionados line up for fresh pastries, shakshuka and yogurt bowls in the bright, plant-filled dining area.
Event Space: With its 6 m-high ceilings, arched windows and private garden courtyard, the 270 m² hall hosts workshops, pop-up dinners and private celebrations. It’s an ideal venue for intimate concerts, gallery openings and creative gatherings.
Insider Tip:
Browse the shop early in the week when new collections arrive, then settle into a corner with a pour-over coffee and people-watch Berlin life flowing by along the Landwehrkanal. Whether you’re hunting for a gift, craving a leisurely brunch or scouting unique event venues, Hallesches Haus offers a multifaceted taste of Kreuzberg’s creative spirit.
