Rough Ridge Lookout is a picturesque hike located in Grandfather Mountain, North Carolina. This hike is great for all ages and abilities from novice hikers to experienced adventurers. I use the trail above to hike this one, but keep in mind the viewpoint in the picture is not the popluar spot that everyone stops at. You will need to go further up the trail about .25 miles.

The parking lot for this will fill up quickly, especially during the fall season. There is also fragile vegetation around here so please respect all signage and don't go in an area if it is roped off.
