🇬🇧 Charco de Los Clicos is a green lake formed in the crater of an ancient volcano, which owes its green color to a type of algae that grows in its water. The lake is connected through the subsoil with the ocean, which keeps its water alive!

For me, this is the most colorful place of the island: on one side you can see the blue water of the oceans that washes the black sand, on the other there is a red red cliff and obviously the emerald lake!

It isn't possible to go near the lake because it's a natural reserve. For the best view of the lake take the path that goes up to the viewpoint, then you must go down to admire closer the black sand and the red earth.

🇮🇹 Charco de Los Clicos è un lago verde formatosi nel cratere di un antico vulcano, che deve il suo colore verde a un tipo di alghe che cresce nelle sue acque. Il lago è collegato attraverso il sottosuolo con l'oceano, che ne mantiene vive le acque!

Per me questo è il posto più colorato dell'isola: da un lato si vede l'acqua azzurra degli oceani che bagna la sabbia nera, dall'altro c'è una scogliera rossa e ovviamente il lago color smeraldo!

Non è possibile avvicinarsi al lago perché è una riserva naturale. Per la migliore vista del lago si prende il sentiero che sale al belvedere, poi vi consiglio di scendere alla spiaggia per ammirare più da vicino la parete rosso fuoco.
