Description:
Brúarfoss, often called the “Blue Waterfall,” is a smaller but stunning waterfall located along the Golden Circle. It is famous for its striking turquoise water that flows through a narrow canyon, creating one of the most photogenic waterfalls in Iceland. Unlike larger waterfalls like Gullfoss or Skógafoss, Brúarfoss feels quieter and more hidden, though it has become more popular in recent years. The walk to the falls is about 3 km (2 miles) each way along a scenic trail, making it a peaceful stop for travelers who want something less crowded.

Price:
Visiting Brúarfoss is free, including parking near the trailhead. The hike takes about 45–60 minutes round trip. Guided Golden Circle tours that include Brúarfoss typically cost $80–120 USD per person.
