Take a detour to another eclectic area of Bologna, where the famous Mercato dell Erbe (The Herbs market) is located. While you can certainly buy different herbs (alongside seasonal fruits and vegetables) there, it has a lovely food court that is so much loved by the locals. Behind the market, there’s another so-called food court, made up of different small bars lining up the piazza. This area is known as the oldest food court in Bologna - and today it’s an amazing place for an aperitivo!
