Zpráva od gabriele serra

The Torre del Oro is a striking dodecagonal watchtower located in Seville, Spain. Constructed in the 13th century and believed to have been built by Almohad caliphates, the tower has held a fascinating history. It is rumoured to have gotten its name from the gold-like shine it projected onto the nearby Guadalquivir river due to its mortar, lime, and pressed hay construction. During the middle ages, it served as a prison; today, it is a museum where tourists are able to explore the area and learn of ancient Spanish history.
