🌲 Lickey Hills – A Perfect Little Adventure Loop
If you’re after a short, fun walk with big views, loads of woodland to explore and plenty to keep the kids busy, Lickey Hills is such a good pick.
🚶♀️ The Walk
Start from the Visitor Centre car park on Warren Lane- parking’s free! Follow the Bluebell Trail—a 1.5-mile circular route that’s easy to follow and great for all ages. It winds through lovely woodland, with lots of trees to climb, sticks to collect, and even a stream at some points. Want to stretch it a bit further? You can easily add on a few paths to make it closer to 2 miles. It’s all pushchair-friendly too.

Big Views from Beacon Hill
Take the quick detour up to Beacon Hill—it’s not far and totally worth it. The views from the top are incredible. On a clear day you can see for miles, and if you squint hard enough, maybe even the Malverns!
🛝 Play Area & Den Building
Back near the car park there’s a proper play area with swings, slides, and climbing frames (best for kids around 3–13). There’s also a den-building patch in the woods nearby—perfect for a bit of make-believe and twig-stacking fun.
☕ Café & Facilities
Once you’ve looped back round, the Visitor Centre has a handy café with snacks, drinks, and toilets (including baby change) but just beware it's only cash!
