Himley to Baggeridge Walk – Waterfalls, Wheel-Friendly & Two Cafes!
Follow our route here
This is a lovely, easy-going route that’s got something for everyone, a 2.5-mile return walk from Himley Hall to Baggeridge totally delivers. It’s one of those trails where you’re never far from something interesting and it’s pushchair, wheelchair and bike friendly the whole way.
The Route
Start from the parking at Himley Hall (£3.50 all day), follow the path to the right of the house, to the left of the cafe through the woods, and you’ll end up at Baggeridge Country Park. It’s about 1.25 miles each way, but we took our time exploring and paddling and it came to around 2 hours total.
Along the way you’ll spot 3 or 4 little waterfalls and cascades, depending on how much rain there's been recently, with proper paddling spots that are perfect for wellies or bare feet in warmer weather. The route has just enough adventure to keep the kids engaged, without being tricky to navigate.

Facilities
You’ve got cafés, toilets and playgrounds at both ends, so you can fuel up, let the kids play and take loo breaks whenever needed (vital, obviously). Baggeridge’s play area is especially good for letting off steam before the walk back.
Good to Know
Buggy, scooter, wheelchair and bike friendly
Cafés & toilets at both Himley Hall and Baggeridge
Two play areas (one at each end)
Lovely shaded woodland most of the way there

Perfect for a relaxed Sunday morning or an after-school adventure when you want to get out but don’t fancy a full-on hike. Plenty of variety, loads of space and an excuse for two café stops! Win-win.
