Where to stay:

I chose Arrecife for my mainstay. It was a convenient option and at a relatively mid-distance from all other points of interest and gems I wanted to visit. However, the inconvenience was finding a place to park the car. Public spots are mostly unavailable unless you get really lucky - especially during carnivals. Most hotels there do not have parking spot and redirect you to a private parking. So, if you want a safe spot, you will need to expect paying 20+ EUR per night. At least that was the fee I had to pay for safe private parking in one called "Parking Islas Canarias."

If I were to visit again, I would choose a more southern accommodation!

How to get around:

Rent a car for convenience and easy roaming! And you don't need a big one if you're not too many!

The island is small, but it will still require some driving from one spot to another if you want to do it right.

I booked mine in advance with 'Goldcar' company and collected it from the terminal parking. Very affordable cost per day. Smooth comms and friendly staff.

Watch out for extra fees they might propose to 'help you avoid paying for damages and save on the deposit.'

Also, note that they do require a deposit for fuel coverage, just in case (from what I heard, all rental companies ask for that in Lanzarote).

BONUS Tip: 4 Days are enough to roam around and enjoy the island. But I would make it 5/6 in peak season to enjoy the sun and sea more!
