Salmon Cove Sands is a cute little beach that’s actually heart-shaped! This hidden gem is tucked between dramatic cliffs and has about 500m of soft grey sand that’s perfect for laying out or just kicking back with a book.

There’s a warm water river flowing right into the cove (ideal for families and wading in), plus a short 2 km trail if you want to stretch your legs.

There aren’t any campsites here, so plan for a relaxing day trip and soak up all the beachy, small-town charm!
