The Jöriseen hike (number 788) is an excellent way to explore the beautiful alpine lakes in kanton Graubünden in Switzerland. On this beautiful trail, hikers will find several stunning lakes in a rocky landscape that offer a challenge with steep climbs both ways. Suitable for those with a good fitness level and older children, the 5 hour loop trail of 11km and 860m of elevation boasts views over valleys and mountain peaks.

Hike details:

Start: Wägerhus / Abzw. Jöriseen bus stop. The hikes is a loop so you will have to take the same bus home. If you arrive by car, there is a parking lot.

Follow the sign towards Winterlücke. From here enjoy the views of tha lakes that can be from color turquoise to deep blue depends on the light.

This hiking trail is only doable in summer. I recommend to go on a sunny day, in rain the trail can be difficult.
