Grenivik Guesthouse is only a 30-minute drive from the town of Akureyri. The Guesthouse is located in the quiet fishing village of Grenivik, which lies by the roots of Mt. Kaldbakur (1173 m). The owners of Grenivík Guesthouse aim to welcome their guests with a warm, friendly, and memorable stay.

Grenivík Guesthouse offers accommodation with four double/twin rooms and private bathrooms. During the Summer months all rooms include a buffet-style breakfast. The buffet consists of home-baked breads and other homemade goods as well as a variety of local products for everyone to enjoy. All rooms are equipped with a smart TV, a fridge, a hair dryer and free Wi-Fi is available. A hot tub and a barbeque are free of charge for our guests to enjoy during their stay. During the winter months the entire guesthouse can be rented.

Located near the town of Grenivik is Polar Hestar. They offer various horse-riding tours year-round. The old turf house museum Laufas is a short 8 minute drive away. The village of Grenivik has a good scenic swimming pool and hot tub. There are many hiking trails nearby.
