My name is João. I am from Madeira Island and I have been exploring this beautiful Island since ever. I have a degree in Cultural Studies in Portugal and a Master of Arts in Global Cultures and Creativity in the UK. From sea levet to the highest mountains in the Island I have spent a fair amount of time hiking, exploring forgotten trails, local secrets and, of course, the local culture, history and spots that are genuinely special around the archipelago.
