This area known for its vibrant pastel coloured houses and cobblestone streets. It is also the only Muslim neighbourhood in the city and still mostly Cape Malay and Coloured people live here. Bo-Kaap is definitely worth a stroll but please be respectful when taking pictures in front of the coloured houses and don't just enter yards and doorways - people still live here.
