Škegro Family Winery is a boutique winery nestled in the hills of Ljubuški and only planting autochthonous grape varieities. Led by Bariša Skegro, this family-run winery takes a hands-off approach to winemaking, focusing on organic practices and taking into account the challenging terroir of Herzegovina.

It was magical to taste their delicious wines right during golden hour. The sun came out and tinted the whole tasting room in golden colours. And apart from the beautiful setting.

I love their wines, especially since they are focusing on the autochthonous varieties Žilavka, Blatina and Trnjak in their production… oh, and let’s not forget their orange rice too 😍
