This monastery is unlike other I have seen before - the inside of their church is beautifully painted and the history of the trapist monks very interesting. Make sure to have a look at the museum and learn about the order of Trapist monks. They produce a special kind of cheese here in Banja Luka and the recipe is a secret – the last person knowing how to make it, is already over 80 years old! When you are there, make sure to bring some cash for their little cheese shop.
