Upernavik is a cozy little town in Greenland, known for its chilly winters and cool summers. With a population of around 1,064 people, it's the twelfth-largest town in Greenland. Founded in 1772, Upernavik sits on a small island and is part of the Avannaata municipality. The town has a tundra climate, so don't expect to see any trees growing there! Despite its remote location, Upernavik is a charming place with a rich history, including being the northernmost spot where Norse artifacts have been found.
