Saxhóll Crater is a striking volcanic crater located on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in western Iceland, inside Snæfellsjökull National Park. The crater, is a red, perfectly shaped volcanic cone that formed about 3,000–4,000 years ago during a volcanic eruption.
