What to order:
Order the mixed chicken pho with both thigh and breast. You get tender, juicy chicken with a lighter but still really flavourful broth. If you want something different, they also do phở trộn, the dry version, which locals love.
Why it’s here:
It’s listed in the MichelinGuide and is one of Hanoi’s go-to spots for chicken pho – it’s always busy for a reason. The Pho is super comforting and very well-balanced.
Tip:
Go around lunchtime when it’s busy and just follow the locals’ lead. Seating is simple and it’s all about the food, not the setting. Service is very efficient, just point at what you’d like on the menu. If you’re pho-ed out on beef, this is a really good change-up without feeling like a compromise.
