Driving Highway 97 and need a break? Mara Provincial Park is an ideal destination. It has a lovely sandy beach, beautiful lake views and a grassy picnic area.

There are two entrances to the parking lot. The southern one is easiest to use when driving north (the other is on a corner with limited view).
