Lake Wanaka Lookout is one of the best places to view the southern end of Lake Wanaka, where you'll find yourself surrounded by mountain peaks, rural farmland, waterfalls, and perfect reflections on a still day.

There is a decent amount of parking at this roadside pullover and it is definitely worth a stop to get the camera out.
