Zpráva od Sweet Vacay

The Trevi Fountain is a beautiful 18th century sculpture located in Rome, Italy. It is the largest Baroque fountain in the city and stands 26.3 meters high and 49.15 meters wide! Myth says that by throwing coins in the fountain you can make a wish that will come true - so bring your coins with you! The fountain, at the intersection of three roads, marks the terminal point for Aqua Virgo, one of the aqueducts supplying water to ancient Rome. The name of the fountain derives from Latin word trivium (intersection of three streets). Despite interventions over its lifetime, the fountain continues to be a stunning reminder and symbol of Roman’s rich history.
