Hohsaas is a high mountain viewpoint where you can admire a glacier and 18 peaks over 4000m tall. There is a short rocky trail around the top with informational signboards describing each peak.

How to get there

Hohsaas is located near Saas Fee in the Valais region of southern Switzerland.

Get to the Hohsaas Bergbahn (near Seilbahnstrasse 10, 3910 Saas-Grund).

• By car: There is a large metered parking lot adjacent to the gondola station. 

• By public transport: Take a train to Visp, then a bus to Saas Grund, Bergbahnen, which is adjacent to the gondola station.

Ride the gondola up to Kreuzboden, then Hoh Saas.

Tickets

You'll need a return ticket to Hohsaas. This ticket allows you stop at the Kreuzboden playground on the way down.
