The Sporthotel Eienwäldli in Engelberg is a 3-Star superior family-run Chalet-style hotel. It is connected a 5-Star campground that shares the facilities.

It's particularly good for families with lots of extras that make it a fun place to stay with kids.

They have a "adventure" pool with indoor heated pool (32 °C) with whirlpool with massage jets, kids splash area with water slide, rain "grotto," etc. They also have a wellness center (age 18+) with two saunas, steam bath, etc. Some hotel package include the pool and wellness center, but check the booking details to make sure.

It's located along the river, a bit away from the village center. But the bus picks up directly in front on the hotel, a short ride to the train station and mountain transport.
