Getting to Moraine Lake
Plan ahead if you want to see of the most iconic lakes in Canada.
Personal vehicles are no longer allowed on the Moraine Lake Road at any time of year.
To visit this iconic spot, you’ll need to take one of the following options:
Commercial Tour Bus
Bike or E-bike
Hike (long and challenging – not recommended for most)
Shuttle spots fill up fast—reserve in advance. Road access typically runs late May to early October, depending on snow conditions.
