The Punta Carola beach is the best beach on San Cristobal island if you’re looking for a place to relax and watch beautiful sunsets in peace without that many people around. Compared to its nearby sister Playa Mann beach, where all the locals go to watch the sunset, here you won’t find any café or kiosk, and also not so many people playing music out loud with speakers, if there are at least you have 300meters of space to avoid them. It's a great place to surf if you go on the right day. It’s easily accessible by foot from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno and it’s free.
