The Mirador de Baños is a popular destination located just 3 hours south of Quito, Ecuador. The trek to the top offers stunning views of both the town and Volcan Tungurahua. It’s an accessible hike that will take between 1 to 4 hours depending on your route. Those who undertake this journey are treated to 500 feet of incline including stairs and dirt trails until reaching the first viewpoint (La Virgen). Along the way there are several areas to rest, take photos and admire the view. At the end of the hike, adventurers can visit La Casa del Arbol or the the “Swing at the End of the World” and become Instagram famous.
