If you ever wanted to enjoy sunset, viewing over a golden Swiss lake, this is something for you. First you take the cable car from the valley (see link below) that takes you up to a high plateau that is already worth the trip. Then, you start hiking up for around two hours until you reach the peak of mountain Alvier, which has also a little mountain hut to stay the night in (www.alvierhuette.ch). We highly recommend to do that, so you can enjoy sunset and sunrise alltogether on this stunning mountain top before descending and taking the cable car back to the valley in the morning.
