Kyichu Lhakhang, also known as Kyerchu Temple, is a historic Buddhist temple located in Bhutan. Built in the 7th century by Tibetan Emperor Songtsen Gampo, it is one of the oldest temples in the country. Legend has it that the temple was constructed to subdue a demoness and ensure the spread of Buddhism. Over the centuries, the temple has been visited by various spiritual figures and underwent restoration efforts. Today, it stands as a significant religious site in Bhutan, attracting visitors with its rich history and spiritual significance.
