Vejvejledninger

Chiricahua National Monument is a unique national monument containing tall rhyolite spires and balancing rocks best seen by walking the short but often steep, rocky trails and by driving the scenic Bonita Canyon Road with its pullouts. Expect narrow, rocky sections and lots of stairs, so wear sturdy shoes, bring plenty of water, sun protection and layers because temperatures can change with elevation. Cell service and facilities are limited, the visitor center is the best first stop for current trail conditions and maps, and there is a small entrance fee or you can use a National Park pass. Go early on weekends for parking and light, and plan spring or fall for the most comfortable weather; photographers and birders will find this place especially rewarding.
