Day 1
The day: Ride the VerticAlp funicular and panoramic train up to the Emosson dam, walk the lakeshore facing Mont Blanc, then climb to the upper lake and its 240-million-year-old dinosaur footprints. A full day from the Martigny base.

11:00 AM — Lac d'Emosson — lakeshore walk with Mont Blanc views

2:30 PM — Lac du Vieux Emosson — upper lake and the dinosaur footprints
7:30 PM — Dinner at Hotel & Restaurant Vatel

Day 2
The day: Drive east, breaking the transfer at Crans-Montana. Walk the flat, cliff-hugging Bisse du Ro along its centuries-old channel to the Tseuzier dam, lunch on the terrace at Chetzeron, then the little Grenon lake in town before carrying on to Saint-Luc.

11:00 AM — Bisse du Ro — flat, shaded channel walk, not for small kids
12:30 PM — Tseuzier Dam — the dam at the far end of the bisse
2:00 PM — Lunch at Chetzeron Hotel & Restaurant
4:00 PM — Etang Grenon — easy loop round the lake in central Crans
7:30 PM — Dinner at Hôtel Bella Tola et Saint-Luc SPA

Day 3
The day: A short drive up the Val d'Anniviers to Lac de Moiry, the milky-turquoise reservoir, with the easy lake loop in the morning. In the afternoon, the funicular above Saint-Luc to the summit observatory and its planet-walk trail.

10:30 AM — Lac de Moiry — drive the dam road, the colour peaks midsummer
1:00 PM — Lunch at Restaurant Lac de Moiry
