Choose a campsite that matches your trip

Elba offers different types of campsites, from simple pitches surrounded by nature to larger camping villages with mobile homes, restaurants, pools and organised facilities.

Do not choose solely by looking at the distance from the sea on a map. Check whether the campsite has direct beach access, whether the terrain is flat or hilly and how easily you can reach shops, restaurants and nearby villages.

The best area also depends on your plans. Lacona is practical for exploring different parts of the island, while a campsite in the east or west may be better if most of your activities are concentrated there.
