This is a little more difficult hike and also needs more time but the views are worth it. How to get there: Drive to Tierfehd. There you take the cable car up to Kalktrittli. After arrival you have two options: Either take the tunnel first and walk after the lake up to Muttsee Hut or, walk first to Muttsee Hut and walk down to the lake and back through the tunnel. Both is very steep and even has chains along the way to support. Most of the people go first through the tunnel, which takes 40min. Then you arrive at Limmeren Lake. From there you make your way up to Muttsee Hut. From Muttsee Hut you walk to Muttenchopf, to reach the viewpoint you can see on the picture. This takes another 30min. From there you walk back down to Kalktrittli. The total time is around 6 hours. Price: The return ticket costs 15chf and there is no Discount Fare.
