Prepare to be captivated by the sheer power of Skógafoss, one of our most magnificent waterfalls. You can walk right up to the base, just a few minutes from the car park, and feel the immense spray – a waterproof jacket is a good idea!

For a different perspective, take the staircase of over 500 steps to the viewing platform at the top. From there, you'll get a breathtaking view over the falls and the coastline, and it's the starting point for a stunning hike along the river, revealing even more cascades!
