ChaiLaiOrchidi s a great experience overall, so I recommend it to every traveler in chiang Mai. The Chai Lai Orchid is a nature retreat located on the way to Doi Inthanon, surrounded by lush tropical forest. Here you can spend your days swimming with elephants in the river or walking with them in the jungle. It is currently working to rescue more elephants from abusive conditions, so every visit counts. They also propose many activites, such as waterfall trekking, cooking class, elephant care, hidden temple, food tour, etc... All of these are great photo opportunities, but of course you're here for the elephants. You can have the elephants come to greet you in the morning during breakfast or spend some time with you for a picnic lunch (you feed them, they won't eat your breakfast don't worry) ;) It's not too expensive, around 1000-1,5000 THB depending on packages, all props included, and you'll definitely have incredible photos and memories.
