Lothian Buses - Bus app used in Edinburgh & surrounds
CalMac Ferries - Used for booking ferries & keeping track of delays
ScotRail - If you want to explore outside of Edinburgh without hiring a vehicle, this is you best option.
Historic Scotland - Details on all the sites you can visit, opening times etc.
Stay Free & Park4Night - Both apps great for finding spots to park/camp overnight. Sometimes outdated, but I used them often. Can also find public toilets, showers, greywater dumping etc.
Free Taps - Good for finding spots to refill your water bottles
OS Maps - Offline maps, very important for hiking
