The Chain Bridge is one of Budapest’s most iconic landmarks, connecting the Buda and Pest sides of the city across the Danube River. Opened in the 19th century, it was the first permanent bridge linking the two parts of the capital and remains a symbol of Budapest today.

Visitors can walk across the bridge and enjoy stunning views of the Danube, Buda Castle, the Parliament, and the city skyline. The bridge is especially beautiful at sunset and at night when it is illuminated, making it a favorite spot for photographers and romantic evening walks. It is located close to major attractions and easily accessible from both sides of the river.
