For the past 12 years, I’ve been traveling the world with my partner Joerg - 10 of them sailing a catamaran across half the globe. Arriving by boat often meant being welcomed as guests, not tourists. That’s how I started collecting local recipes - sitting in family kitchens, writing down the dishes people cook for themselves, not for Instagram. Today we travel by land, exploring cities, markets, street food spots, cafés, and everyday places that most visitors miss. Alongside the recipes I continue to gather, I create personally tested city guides focused on authentic local experiences, hidden gems, and honest travel tips. My guides are structured and real - what we loved, what surprised us, and what we would skip next time. No “top 10 must-see” lists. Just places that feel alive. I turn the recipes I collect into books available on Amazon and Google Play, so you can travel through food at home. Travel for me is about people, flavors, and the stories we carry with us long after the trip ends.
