How to get here- To reach the lake, you can embark on a 4–6 hour round-trip hike from the nearby yurt camps in Kok Kiya Valley. Alternatively, you can hire a local guide and horse for around 1,500 SOM, which cuts your travel time in half. What makes this lake truly unique is that it remains hidden from view until you ascend the final steep hill between the towering rock formations.

Where to stay here- It is not advised to camp here. Around midday, the winds fly through the valley the lake sits in. Instead, rest at the yurt camps nearby and hike to the lake during the daytime.

What to do here- Once you've reached the lake- enjoy it. You can take a boat ride across the lake to explore even further for about 1500 SOM. You can go for a chilly swim in the glacier-fed lake.

At an elevation of 3,514 meters and born from glacial runoff, this vibrant, teal pool typically appears only between June and August. Thanks to its remote location and restricted access, the area remains one of the least disturbed by tourism in the entire country.
