Salak Phet Mangrove Forest on Koh Chang island is a hidden gem for nature lovers, offering a peaceful stroll through lush mangrove forests leading to a beautiful bay.
Some parts of the wooden boardwalk would need to be renovated, but overall it's a wonderful and short walk (you only need around 30 min here) and the panoramic views of mountains and mangrove fields make it worth the visit. You can also see crabs by the mangrove roots where they're dry!
There are toilets but they leave a lot to be desired.
