I had no idea about the beautiful waterfalls so close to Cradle Mountain National Park until I met a friendly traveler who shared this gem with me. Naturally, I had to add it to my itinerary. To reach these falls, start at the Lemonthyme Wilderness Retreat. From there, follow the trail for about 1.6 kilometers to reach Champagne Falls.

For the full experience, I highly recommend doing the complete trail, which extends to Bridal Veil Falls and covers a total distance of 5.3 kilometers return. The hike is well worth it. Champagne Falls is a stunning sight, with its waters cascading into a crystal-clear pool below. It’s an ideal spot for a refreshing dip, a relaxing break, or simply soaking in the serene beauty of the surroundings. The area around the falls is perfect for picnics, sunbathing, or just unwinding after your hike.
