Hanstholm is a town best know for its surfing, kitesurfing and wing foiling. It is an old harbour town that is quite charming in its own unique way. Nice to hangout at the surf spot https://maps.app.goo.gl/AdHY4QT8t5vApzqb9 get amongst it or go people watch.

The ridge is big open and grassy with a consistent gradient, 3km long and averaging 30m. A unique coastal site to Denmark with its size and soft grass. Great camping down below, full amenities in town and pretty cool backdrop to the East with the Hanstholm wind farm. 

Hanstholm faces NNW, so is a great option if you get a couple of days on Northerlies in the middle of a trip. Cool site, worth a look.

There is also an inland site that faces SSW, I never flew it but hangout with some guys there flying their slope soarers. There are a few bunkers in the side of the ridge, I think it’d be a bumpy but fun one to hit.
