Lago di Molveno: A Stunning Lake Surrounded by the Brenta Dolomites

Lago di Molveno is a breathtaking lake nestled in the heart of Trentino, framed by the towering peaks of the Brenta Dolomites. It’s a fantastic spot to visit for both nature lovers and photographers, offering incredible views and plenty of activities.

Parking and Accessibility

There’s a convenient parking area near one of the best viewpoints, but if it’s full, don’t worry there are other parking options nearby. From the parking spot, you can easily walk down to the lake and enjoy a panoramic view of Molveno and the surrounding mountains.

Sunrise and Sunset Magic

While sunset is beautiful here, with the mountain peaks glowing in warm tones as the valley begins to darken, my personal favorite is sunrise. If you’re lucky and the wind is calm, you’ll witness an incredible mirror like reflection of the Brenta Dolomites on the lake’s surface. I’ve visited Lago di Molveno several times during both sunrise and sunset, and it never fails to amaze me.
