Magma Hotel is a small and intimate hotel located in one of the most beautiful regions of south Iceland, close to Kirkjubæjarklaustur. The view from the hotel is unique--a lake rich with birdlife, moss covered lava fields, a black sand glacial river, as well as volcanoes and Vatnajökull glacier looming in the distance.

Most rooms accommodate only 2 people but their family rooms can sleep 2 adults and up to 3 kids.

Magma Hotel offers a breakfast buffet with bookings as well as a small restaurant for dinner. Know that if you intend to dine at the bistro, you must notify the hotel before 5:30 pm that day.
